What can I expect from AGNIs virtual candle making workshops?

In our virtual candle making workshop you will learn how to make an AGNI meditation candle in a glass vessel. You will be encouraged to bring mindful attention to the process of candle making. This is a chance to relax, unwind and take away tips for incorporating mindful meditation into your daily life.

The virtual workshop is approximately 2 hours and includes:

  • Candle-making kit delivered to your home: includes everything you need to make 1 soy wax AGNI meditation candle in a black glass jar
  • Live candle-making demonstration from Jess Cronshaw via zoom – Jess will guide you through the candle making process step-by-step
  • Mindful movement and candle meditation class
  • Access to basic training materials on setting up a candle making business

14.00 – 14.10 BREATHE: Welcome & technology detox. This afternoon is for YOU, you are invited to turn your phones to flight mode allowing you to immerse yourself fully in this experience without any distractions.

14.10 – 15.10 CREATE: You will spend the first part of the afternoon learning how to make a soy wax candle using a wide based wick. These candles are specifically designed for TRATAKA meditation.

{*TRATAKA meditation is a yogic purification technique involving focussing the gaze on a fixed point, through stilling the sight we can still the mind}

15.10-15.45 RELAX: While your candles are setting we will unwind with some mindful movement and TRATAKA meditation using candles – so that you can learn how to use your candles and practice in your own time. We will finish with a guided meditation.

15.45 – 16.00 Tea break + Q&A: Take a moment to relax and let the practice soak in. Grab a drink and a comfy seat, take some time to reflect and an opportunity to ask any questions you have about the workshop.

What will I need for the workshop?

You will need:

  • Access to a tablet, laptop or phone
  • Internet connection
  • Access to a hob
  • Dress in comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely for the mindful movement and meditation class
